Who am I?
Hello, I'm Molly a Hypnobirthing Teacher in West Sussex providing parents with Hypnobirthing classes and pregnancy relation classes.
I believe that birth can be amazing and you can feel excited about birth! Do you feel nervous about your birth and want to feel differently? I was definitely like that when I was pregnant in 2023 with my baby. I heard stories and watched births that looked unrealistic, gory and scary. We've all seen births on One Born Every Minute and Friends! (Birth isn't like this!)
I'm telling you that your birth can be different. Mine was!
My pregnancy was regarded 'high risk' due to my 'high BMI', this made me realise that I would have to advocate for myself in a system that was complicated and well, frightening.
As soon as I found hypnobirthing I had all the knowledge to explore choice in birth; with where and what we wanted for the birth of our child. Hypnobirthing also gave me and my birth partner tools to improve my comfort levels and ensure I was as relaxed as I could be.
I felt confident and ready to birth my baby.
Afterwards I felt empowered and in awe of myself and my body.
Some things had changed but I had the tools to take back control and make informed decisions which were best for us.
Hypnobirthing has changed my life.
